We did this song in May. And yes I am only now posting it. Sorry for anyone who was in the same boat and I didn't help. But hopefully most of ya'll are on a normal schedule and this might be of help.
When Christ was on the earth
A picture of Christ and a planet earth (I used the sermon on the mount pic)
He promised he would send
Take one piece of construction paper, write US as the address to and Jesus in the return corner, and draw on a stamp.
The Holy Ghost to comfort us,
I had a child hold a sign that said Holy Ghost while waring a big blanket around their shoulders. We talked about how one way we feel the Holy Ghost is a warm comforting feeling, its like waring a spiritual blanket
Our true eternal friend.
picture of a child smiling with the words typed underneath.
The Holy Spirit Whispers,
A picture of a reverent child, Typed taped to top 'the Holy Spirit', and below 'whispers'
with a still small voice.
picture of an ear, typed next to 'still small voice'
He testifies of God and Christ
First Vision picture, typed 'testifies'
And makes our hearts rejoice.
Picture of child smiling, cut out heart, with shining rays coming out from the heart, placed over the child's heart.
And when we are confirmed
Confirmation picture
By sacred priesthood power
another confirmation picture with typed words 'priesthood power'
The Holy Ghost is given to us
pic of a gift, tag could say to 'us'
To guide us every hour.
Clock, typed word 'guide'
Oh may I always listen to that still small voice.
Ear next to picture typed words 'Still small voice'
And with his light, I'll do what's right
pic of light bulb, typed words 'his light, do what's right'
Each time I make a choice.

Other ideas: have the children sing softly each time you sing the lines about 'Whispers', 'Still small voice', and 'listen'. I had each picture held by a child. We taught the first verse and then the second verse. Each time learning a line we sang that line and the line in front of it, and continued building till we sang the whole song up to that line in one go, then we'd learn the next time. Example: The Holy Spirit Whispers, Our true eternal friend the Holy Spirit Whispers, The Holy Ghost to comfort us Our True Eternal Friend The Holy Spirit Whispers.... and so on.
Good Luck
I'm an Arizona Girl. I can't say that I don't love the Mountains of Utah or Colorado, or that I don't miss the perfect white beaches of Northern Florida, but the desert is a different kind of beautiful that I never want to leave. Weight Watchers Update
Just because I haven't posted anything in a while doesn't mean my husband and I have given up. That is not the case at all. I have completely stopped nursing, so all those nursing points are gone. I miss them. But I am adjusting to less points and learning to live with out them.
I am down 26 lbs. My husband pointed out that if I can keep this up I will be around my goal weight when we go on our cruise. I'm just short of half way my goal. It feels great. I am finally starting to fit into some cloths that I haven't been able to since around the time I got married. I weigh less right now than I did when I met my husband. I sticking in there and I am going to get down to my goal weight.

Happy 1st Birthday
Baby Al is now 1 year old. Wow that was a quick year. When I was a child years took forever. Why is it they go by so much fast now? We had a pirate themed b-day party for our little one. (Who got his first tooth, finally, a few days before he turned one.)
Al was so cute. Thanks to all who came and all who sent their love. Al had a great birthday.
Birthday boy cuddling up to daddy.
the pirate theme cake (it was a Monsters vs Aliens cake, but I had them leave the monsters off the cake and I downloaded this pirate from a digital scrapbook site. I downloaded, printed, laminated, and then taped toothpicks to its back and wala. Too cute.
Baby Al didn't know at first what to do but quickly figured it out.
He ate lots of frosting and was having a hay day.
He was just too cute for words, but there came a time when the cake had to go away.
Which leads us to the next picture, of a baby who just lost his cake and was unhappy to get his face cleaned. My child makes the best unhappy faces. Its hard not to laugh at him.

Changed It all Up
We were going to do "I Feel My Savior's Love"
This is the sign language we are doing for the 1st verse for the program. (You can hear my baby in the back of the video trying to sing with me.)
The other song we are doing is "I Am a Child of God" and we are singing it in German and Spanish. We were going to learn "I Feel My Savior's Love" this month and then "I Am a Child of God" in Aug. But I felt we needed to learn the language more than the sign language. So we switched them and were going to do "I Am a Child of God" this month. But then I learned that the brother who is going to help teach it in German will be out of town, I am going to be out of town one Sunday, we have stake conference this month, and one Sunday we won't have church because of the Gila Valley Temple Dedication is going to take its place. I then decided that 2 Sundays won't be enough to teach it in a foreign language and after talking about the problem with the Primary pres she suggested we switch and do "The Holy Ghost" this month (it goes fine with the topic of the 4th article of faith. And then do "I Am a Child of God" in June, then "I feel my Savior's Love" in Aug.
So I will soon post how I taught "The Holy Ghost". Watch for it.

Women's Conference
Women's Conference was so awesome. It was sort of a last minute thing that I decided to go. Thank-you SO much to my in-laws, who watched out baby while I was gone. And to my husband who learned insight into being a single father. When I called home he said "you are never allowed to die on me". He is so sweet. I love him.
I needed to be there so much. Granted I love my calling, but my jug doesn't get very filled while at church. I use to look forward to church on Sunday for that reason. My jug was getting so low and now it is full again.

I Am Like a Star
So after I did the Suns for Sunbeams I had a request for stars. Maybe this isn't exactly what was in mind, but this is what I made. I hope it works for you.

Sunbeams Suns
I had someone leave a question about the suns I have for my sunbeams and nursery. I thought about it and decided to see if I could use my newly acquired digital artwork skills to make suns for everyone to use. They aren't perfect, but will work, just save them to your computer, print them out, cut them out, laminate if wanted, and place on stick. You're good to go. Hope they work for you. If you have any problems with saving them, you can email me and I will send you the file.

Teaching: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
The song "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" AKA "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" is such a fun song to sing. I still remember singing it often back when I was in Primary. I have wanted to make teaching this song different and fun.
While listening to Elder Uchtdorf's talk, I got inspired (I don't remember what he said or why it inspired me, maybe it was just the Spirit). Also another blogger pointed out that this song emphasizes the action words "believe", "know", "follow", "do" and so on. The combination of Elder Uchtdorf and this sister's blog gave me an idea. Instead of making signs to hold I'm going to have the children 'dress' as the word.
For example these are the words:
"Belong"-- Sports team member- have the child ware a jersey, and/or hold a ball, glove, bat.
"Know"-- Graduate- Graduation hat. I made mine out of construction paper, but you could use an old actual one too, mine is at my parents house.
"Follow"-- Crossing guard- Give the child a crossing guard sign to hold up, maybe a whistle (I wouldn't recommend it unless the whistle is broken). I'm going to try to find a crossing guard reflective vest, but I don't know where to find one. We tried as missionaries to give to our greenie to ware while backing us up and never did, so that part might be a no go. But I made the crossing guard sign out of construction paper and laminated (highly recommend getting one if you can afford to, mine was my Christmas present).
"Believe"-- _____- this one was the hardest for me. Here are some suggestions, I'm not sure what I am going to do for sure yet. 1- Santa hat, 'Do you Believe in Santa?' this one could be dangerous. Some parents loath Santa, having something to do with it in Singing Time might not be a good idea. Not to mention you couldn't make the comparison that we only believe in Santa because he isn't real verse we believe and have Faith in Christ since He is Real. That might get tricky since many little children still believe. 2- I own costume fairy wings. I thought of asking 'Do you believe in fairies?' to start instead. Either of these to complete them have the child hold a picture of Christ and the word FAITH. 3-The safest if you are looking for safe, have a costume ancient robe, and have the child hold a picture of Christ, they are to represent Christ.
"Honor"-- Scout- Bring a scout (cubs or boys) hat and have a child ware it for this line. The other suggestion given by my husband was a solider's outfit or hat. But I figure more children (since most have siblings or are themselves in some level of Scouts) will relate more.
"Do"-- Construction Worker"- have a child ware a hard hat. The idea was a hat associated with work. Another suggestion is -- a Cleaning worker- apron and rubber gloves.
"Proclaim"-- Missionary, I made an Elder and Sister name tags (enlarged) to have a child ware. I plan on having one boy and a girl come up for this one and one hold a picture of Christ and the other a picture of President Monson.
Along with this you could have the children hold up the "keyword" of what they are or the phrase of the song.
Hope ya'll have fun with this song. I can't wait.
